The roof of a house owned by a person named Abdul Majeed, located at Multan’s Ghareebabad, came crashing down due to which seven persons, including four children, were trapped under the rubble.
The residents of the area blamed the rescue teams of arriving late at the scene. However, in charge of the rescue mission said that the first vehicle had arrived at the scene in five minutes.
Two children among five persons have been reportedly killed in the roof collapse incident.
The injured persons were shifted to Nishtar Hospital for treatment.
Rescue teams have stated that construction was ongoing in the second floor of the building which became the cause of the incident.
