MITHI: Two more children died in a Chachro area of drought-hit Tharparkar, ARY News reported Tuesday.
The death toll of children has now reached 173 in the desert region. The fresh deaths of the children are reported from Mithi, a small town in the drouight-hit district.
Earlier on Sunday, the WHO released its report on Thar, stating non-provision of health facilities as core reason of deaths in the arid district.
It said only two Tehsil hospitals existed in Tharparkar, while number of health centres in the district was also only two.
