The death toll after today’s deaths has risen to 127 in two months.
Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto had constituted a committee last month comprising information adviser Moula Bux Chandio and food minister Nasir Shah to look into the situation in Thar.
The two-member team was also expected to visit the region and submit a report to the PPP chairman.
According to media reports hospitals in Thar are facing a shortage of doctors, while around 215 dispensaries remain non-functional in the remote villages of Thar region.
