The incident occurred near I-9 within the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi Police Station when truck fell on two vehicles. Rescue teams reached the spot and extricated the trapped persons after cutting through the truck.
A man immediately died on the spot while three people including a woman were injured. One of the injured also breathed his last after some time at a hospital.
The other injured people were later released after being given necessary medical treatment. Those died in the accident could not be identified as yet.
