MUZAFFARABAD: The boulders of landslide hit a jeep in Muzaffarabad killing a father and daughter on Wednesday.
According to ARY News, debris of a landslide at Lohar Gali area of Muzaffarabad in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, hit a passing jeep, killing a man and his daughter in the incident, rescue sources said.
Local residents of the area, in violent response to the incident, came to streets and vehemently protested against the mishap. Angry mobs also tried to ransack the President House. Heavy contingents of police reached to the area and controlled the situation.
The protesters were demanding for steps to ensure safety from the regular incidents of landsliding in the mountainous region.
