KARACHI: Two gang war operatives were killed in an encounter with police in Kalakot area of Lyari, ARY News reported on Thursday.
According to police officials, the slain accused have been identified as Amin Baloch alias Danny and Adnan Baloch alias Langra.
The two slain gangsters were members of Baba Ladla gang.
According to police, the slain criminals were involved in targeted killings and other heinous crimes in the area.
Police personnel in a search operation in Neelum Colony and Shah Rasool Colony in Clifton detained 11 suspects.
Police arrested an alleged terrorist identified as Mohammad Hanif in a raid in Ittehad Town in Baldia. The arrested man said to be a member of Riasat group of gang war.
Arms and explosives were also recovered from the accused.
A security guard gunned down a bandit while another escaped from the scene in Gulbarg area.
The accused were robbing the passersby when a security guard opened fire at them, police said.
