According to details, a gangster identified as Naqeeb alias Maya was shot dead in an encounter at Lyari’s Kalri area. Police said that the suspect was involved in the target killing of 12 people.
Napier Police also gunned down another gangster named Mustafa. He was involved in several crimes such as murder, attempted murder and extortion.
Cops arrested a suspect named Yaseen alias Mama Gaddi who is said to be behind the murder of four police officers. Five other suspected criminals were rounded up during crackdowns in different parts of the metropolis.
It should be noted that Home Minister of Sindh Sohail Anwar Sial has ordered law enforcement agencies to take strict action against the criminal elements.
