Two missing girls found in Lahore

According to details, two sisters Hina, 17 and Sana 18, had reportedly went missing from Mughalpura area of the city on Thursday.

The girls’ father Mohammad Rustam had filed a kidnapping case against unknown persons, police officials said.

The two missing sisters reached police station on their own.

The girls, in their statement to the police, denied of being kidnapped and said that they had fled from their house due to stern behaviour of their father towards them.

The police after recording statements of the two teenagers handed them over to their family.

There has been an alarming increase in the incidents of missing and kidnapping of children in Lahore. Around 681 cases of abduction of children, have been registered at the police stations of the city since January this year.

There are rumours in the public that the abduction of children are linked with forced organ transplantation.
