Unidentified gunmen opened indiscriminate fire at a vehicle of Balochistan Constabulary when it was passing through Splinji area of Mastung district, Levies sources said.
Two personnel of the paramilitary force were killed and eight others were injured in the ambush, sources said.
The attackers fled from the scene after retaliatory firing by the paramilitary force.
The injured and dead bodies have been transferred to a nearby hospital.
Security forces have cordoned off the area after the attack and launched a search operation to capture the culprits.
