According to details, the armed assailants opened fire at DSP Noor Mohammad in Khairabad Colony when he was returning home after offering his Maghrib prayers at a mosque.
In another incident of targeted killing, unknown gunmen shot dead Constable Shahzaib Mehsud in Madina Colony area of the city.
The third incident of killing took place in DIK when unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire in Commissionary Bazaar area leaving a trader Nadeem dead.
