The incident took place on Khayaban-e-Shahbaz in Phase 6 where unknown men opened fire outside the residence of Dr. Aziz, and killed the policeman deputed for his protection.
SSP South Saqib Ismail Memon said that the policeman were killed over a personal dispute of Dr. Aziz, who was provided additional security upon request.
The slain policeman were identified as Majid and Ishtiaq. Their bodies have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital while further investigations have been initiated by police.
