Two shot dead over old enmity in Sukkur

SUKKUR: Two people were shot dead over an old enmity in Sukkur’s area of Pano Akil on Monday (today), ARY News reported.

According to the local police, unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire over a car in Pano Akil, an area of district Sukkur, over an old enmity.

The bodies were moved to a nearby medical facility for legal formalities. The deceased were identified as Asghar and Jala, said the police, adding the investigation into the matter was underway.

In another separate incident of gunfire, back in month of November, three of a family were shot dead, while another had sustained severe bullet injuries in a firing incident in area of Jora Meera in Abbottabad.

An old enmity was said to be the cause of the incident. According to police, unknown assailants, had opened indiscriminate fire over a family, resulting in death of three persons on the spot, another member of the family had sustained severe wounds.

The bodies and injured were shifted to a nearby medical facility.

On October 30, in another incident of multiple killings, four members of a family were shot dead in Ghamarzai area of Charsadda.

According to police, the killer, opened haphazard fire at his mother, sister-in-law, niece and a cousin, resulting their death on the spot. The accused had also killed his wife earlier”, local police officials said.
