U.S should review drone attack policy: Sartaj Aziz
ISLAMABAD: Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz claimed on Wednesday that previous two governments had given the permission of drone attacks to U.S, ARY News reported.
Addressing a book launching ceremony in Islamabad, Sartaj Aziz said that drone attacks have created a dangerous situation in Tribal areas of our country.
Asking U.S to review the drone attack policy, he said drone attacks are challenging the traditions of tribal areas.
The Adviser said that U.S. has not attained its desired aim of peace‚ defeating terrorism‚ promoting development and creating democratic stability in Afghanistan rather it has destabilized the tribal areas of Pakistan.
He said even civil institutes of United States are speaking against war on terrorism.
Sartaj Aziz said move of sending Army in tribal areas have destroyed the political stability of the region. He announced to visit US soon to raise voice against drone attacks.
