Unclaimed car with thousands SMG rounds found in Karachi’s Nazimabad

KARACHI: The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have found a vehicle loaded with thousands of bullets from Nazimabad area of Karachi, ARY News reported on Friday.

Paramilitary Rangers have found thousands of rounds of sub-machine guns (SMG) from an unclaimed car left in Nazimabad.

Around 10,000 SMG rounds have been recovered from packets left in the car, sources said. Rangers personnel have taken the bullets in their possession.

The law enforcement agencies led by Rangers have launched an operation in Karachi for maintenance of law and order in the city.

The crackdown against criminal gangs involved in targeted killings, kidnapping for ransom, extortion, land grabbing and other heinous crimes launched in September 2013 about to complete its second year resulting in visible improvement of security in the metropolis.
