RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor on Friday announced to launch a campaign to pay tribute to the country’s martyrs and their families ahead of defence day, ARY News reported.

In a tweet posted on his official account, the spokesman of military’s media wing said that the nation will pay tribute to its martyrs and their families on September 6 and every Pakistani will be a part of this unique campaign.

“Every Pakistani will IA (God willing) be a part of this unique campaign reaching out to their families, home, street, mohalla, village, city, province & place of Martyrdom. Lets salute their sacrifice,” wrote Asif Ghafoor, adding that he will soon announce the details regarding this campaign.
