KARACHI: Civilians as well as law enforcement agencies are on the target of terrorist attacks in Karachi, as unknown miscreants killed four police officers in Ibrahim Hyderi on Monday, ARY News reported.
According to police, unidentified gunmen riding on motorcycles opened fire at police mobile, critically injuring the personnel and fled away from the scene.
The injured officials were rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) where they succumbed to wounds.
The three deceased police officials are identified as Shafi Ahmed, Dedar and Faraz.
AIG Police Shahid Hayat said that police has been facing a tough time but it will continue to counter the terrorism.
Despite of targeted operation in mega polis, there isn’t any reduction in target killing and violence in the city. 23 police officers have been killed during the current year.
