According to details, authorities have been unable to decode the mobile phones seized from Ayyan Ali even after more than two months of her arrest. The cell phones were seized from the supermodel at the time of her arrest from Islamabad airport on March 14 this year.
Sources told that the money laundering model has not yet revealed her phones’ codes to the investigating officials, which are likely to carry some important data pertaining to the case.
It was reported that her cell phones were sent to an intelligence agency (IA) for decoding, two days after her arrest.
However, the authorities have not yet succeeded in unlocking the phones despite over 70 days have passed.
Ayyan is one of Pakistan’s most celebrated models, endorsing brands like Ufone and Magnum. The model also featured in a Sunsilk ad wearing a Hijab which attracted lots of eyes.
