Upload cake cutting videos on Quaid’s birth anniversary to win prize: minister

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb Saturday asked the students to cut cake on the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and upload the videos on the Facebook page of Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) to win a prize.

She said the students should cut cake at their houses on the birth anniversary of the Quaid-e-Azam on 25th and upload the videos on the Facebook page of Pakistan National Council of Arts to win a prize, a press release said.

“Every citizen needs to make the new year resolution of ‘Unity, Faith and Discipline’ for the next year,” she said while addressing a ceremony held in Islamabad as part of the week-long celebrations of the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Emphasizing collective efforts for making Pakistan ‘the Pakistan of Quaid’, she said every segment of the society has to play a role in this regard.

The minister of state said Quaid-e-Azam has especially emphasized on role of teachers, youth and students for nation building.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said a programme has been approved to upgrade 200 schools in Islamabad. She said the prime minister’s promise of providing modern transport to the schools of Islamabad is being fulfilled as 30 of the approved 200 buses have been bought.
