US Ambassador Richard Olson visits Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Ambassador of the United States (US), Richard Olson has said that the US is cooperating in various sectors in Pakistan for a long time and it will continue to do so for raising the standard of living of Pakistani people – ARY News reports.

According to details, the US Ambassador during his first visit to Faisalabad on Tuesday inaugurated Lincoln Corner at the library of the GC University.

During his meet with the Vice Chancellor, Dr Zakir Hussain, Richard Olson stated that he has come to Faisalabad for extending bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, trade and agriculture.

He expressed his determination to promote high level research program in order to insure food safety in Punjab.

Richard Olson later went to the Agriculture University, where he visited different departments along with the Vice Chancellor Dr Iqrar Ahmed.

Moreover, he met the District Coordination Officer (DCO) Faisalabad, Noor ul Amin Mengal and inaugurated a fast food restaurant in Ghulam Muhammad Abad area.
