RAWALPINDI: A delegation of the Defence Committee of United States (US) Congress has met the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Rashad Mehmood – ARY News reports.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) sources, a delegation of the US Congressmen has met the CJCSC, General Rashad Mehmood, comprised of the members of the Defence Committee.
During the meet, US delegates admired the sacrifices of Pakistan during the 'War on Terror'.
Sources told that the US delegation also discussed affairs relating to Afghanistan after the US withdrawal from there in 2014.
The ISPR Spokesperson told that on this occasion a detailed discussion on Pak-US defence and military relations and cooperation also took place.
