US didn’t warn over NATO supplies, says FO

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office (FO) of Pakistan has stated that United States Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel did not issue any warnings to close the financial aid to the country – ARY News reports on Thursday.

In a press briefing, FO spokesperson Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry has said that the Defence Secretary’s tour to Pakistan remained positive for the two countries. He claimed that Chuck Hagel did not issue any warning of stopping the financial aid to Pakistan if the NATO supplies are not reopened.

He claimed that Pakistan has raised the issue of drone attacks with the US on every level.

Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry stated that false reports are being circulated in the media regarding the appointments in the Foreign Ministry.

Speaking on the cases against the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami in Bangladesh, the spokesperson added that Human Rights organizations have expressed their concerns on the issue.
