KARACHI: The value of rupee continues to increase as it strengthened to Rs.97 level against dollar on Monday, ARY News reported.
The US dollar plummeted sharply in the inter-bank market, closing at Rs 97.70 and Rs 97.90 for buying and selling respectively.
While the national currency in open market registered a slight decrease and was being sold at Rs100.40 and bought at Rs100.15 against the US dollar.
The third tranche of $550 million for Pakistan is expected to get approved today in the executive board meeting of International Monetary Fund (IMF).
