Uzair Baloch asks Lyari lawmakers to resign over his Red-Warrant
KARACHI: Chief of outlawed Peoples Aman Committee (PAC), Uzair Baloch has directed the lawmakers of Lyari town, to resign from their Sindh and National Assembly memberships in protest of a summary forwarded by the Government of Sindh to the Federation for issuing the Red-Warrant of Uzair Baloch – ARY News reports.
Sources told that MNA Shahjehan Baloch, MPAs Javed Nagori and Sania Naz while declining to abide by the directives of Uzair Baloch, have refused to resign from their memberships of the National and Sindh Assemblies.
The lawmakers from Lyari have decided to take up the issue within the party.
Sources told that the PAC Chief is in Masqat and the Government of Sindh has recommended the Federation to issue his Red-Warrant.
It was further told that Uzair Baloch is extremely annoyed with the lawmakers from Lyari, for not raising their voice on the issue, as well as against the ongoing operation in the town by police and Rangers.
Here it should also be mentioned that Shahjehan Baloch was elected MNA, while Javed Nagori and Sania Naz were elected MPAs from Lyari on the ticket of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in General Elections 2013, these candidates were backed by the banned PAC, which was supposed to have enough influence in the town.
