According to sources, the team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) will fly to Dubai to take custody of the key culprit of Lyari gang war Uzair Jan Baloch.
An officer of Sindh Police having complete record of Uzair Baloch will be accompanied with the FIA team, sources said.
DG FIA has expressed hope that chief of banned outfit People’s Aman Committee will be extradited to Pakistan as all the legal hiccups in this regard have been sorted out.
Baloch was declared proclaimed offender by a court in Pakistan, while his red warrants were also issued through Interior Ministry of Pakistan, seeking his arrest and extradition to Pakistan. The notorious criminal was nominated in several extortion and murder cases in the country.
On December 29, 2014, Interpol arrested Uzair Baloch when he landed at the Dubai airport from Muscat. Uzair Baloch was reportedly traveling on an Iranian passport at the time of his arrest.
