DUBAI: Fulfilling her promise actress Veena Malik along with her husband Asad Bashir Khattak departed for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah on Thursday, ARY News reported.
Veena married to Pakistani Businessman Asad Bashir Khan Khattak in Dubai on December 25, 2013.
The newlywed couple today left Dubai to visit holy cities of Mecca and Medina and perform Umrah. The families of couple will also join them in Mecca.
Earlier in the program ‘11th Hour’ of ARY News, Veena described Maulana Tariq Jameel her as spiritual father, saying her life has been completely transformed. She also made commitment to left Bollywood and will not accept any vulgar roles in films.
Veena Malik made promise to cover her head as per teaching of Islam.
