KARACHI: Pakistani actress Veena Malik has slammed India once again by calling it ‘India A Global Terrorist’ while commenting on an Indian media report which revealed that the mastermind behind the horrific Easter Day bombings in Sri Lanka was trained in India.

The Popular film and television actress’ comment came in response of the report regarding the deadly attack where at least 253 people had lost their lives and about 500 wounded by a string of bombings that tore through churches and luxury hotels on Easter Sunday on April 21.

A top Sri Lankan military source has claimed that leader of the National Thowheed Jamaath, Zahran Hashim, is believed to be the mastermind behind the Sunday Easter attacks in Sri Lanka, who spent “substantial” time in “south India.”

According to The Hindu, Hashim was identified as the leader of the extremist NTJ by the investigators, who, they said, “had executed the highly coordinated blasts on Sunday.”

Following the deadly blasts, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attacks and subsequently released an image of eight suspected bombers. “The man seen standing at the centre [of the picture] is believed to be Hashim,” while the face of other men in the picture was covered with a scarf.

Malik had earlier criticised India on March 16, saying that working in India taught her a lot and brought a lot of maturity but she no longer wants to work in the neighbouring country.

“The main reason (behind this decision) is that no matter what you do and how much you work there (in India) they’ll not remember you as one of their own, on the contrary, even if I die working here in Pakistan, this country will remember me,” Veena Malik told ARY News during the channel’s popular show ‘Har Lamha Purjosh’.

About her own journey into the Indian media industry, she said that she feels she was destined to go there and work and the experience has taught her lot.
