LAHORE: An accountability court (AC) on Monday reserved the verdict on a petition requesting medical examination of accused in Ashiana Housing Scam Ahad Cheema.
During the hearing of petition, old medical reports were presented by Ahad Cheema as evidence to the claims of petitioner who asserted that Ahad Cheema has been suffering from various diseases. Thus, a medical check-up of the accused is required, the petition stated.
However, the doctor of jail informed the court that medical examination of Ahad Cheema has already been conducted in Service Hospital. He also submitted the records of it.
The prosecutor of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) enlightened the court that the accused has filed the very petition of medical examination for a third time.
While giving remarks that important people should not be made guests of a hospital, the court reserved its verdict on Ahad Cheema’s petition.
