The actress who was until recently in news for shocking plastic surgery failure has now met with another setback – rejection from a key role in flick.

Actress Vaani Kapoor is gung-ho about her new film Befikre that released in December. And according to Indian media, the actress had received a setback that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has rejected her for his Yash Raj Films (YRF) project, Thugs of Hindostan that also stars Amitabh Bachchan.

But the actress didn’t take too long to dismiss rumours circulating in the media about surgery.

She straightaway said she even couldn’t afford surgery.

The actress could not impress the ‘Perfectionist Khan’, who is famous for his method acting and meticulous preparation before a film begins.

It’s not a novel concept for showbiz stars to undergo cosmetic surgery for ‘better appearance’, but it’s more distressing when such skin treatments rebound on them.

Earlier reports said Vaani Kapoor may have thought the lip job and plastic surgery would do better for next projects. But unfortunately it didn’t come out as expected.

Vaani looked completely different from her Shuddh Desi Romance days in 2013, with a broader chin, jawline and fuller lips. The actress who is looking charming in the film, is somewhere looking a bit mature too (even older than Ranveer!) And twitteratis were quick to blame it completely on the plastic surgery that certainly went wrong in this case.

Check out some of the nasty tweets and also the before and after pictures of the actress that went viral at that time.
