Vote now for best PlayStation games of 2016

PlayStation.Blog has started polls of ‘Game of the Year 2016 Awards’ for the best PlayStation 4 (PS4) games of the following year as 2017 has reached just around the corner.

The awards will be announced in different categories including ‘Best Story’, ‘Best Performance’, ‘Best Soundtrack’, ‘Best Multiplayer’, ‘Best PS4 Game’ and ‘Best Visuals’.

If you do not see your choice of game in the PlayStation.Blog list of nominees then there is a write-in option for each category, so cast your vote for whichever game you think deserves the Platinum.


PlayStation is a gaming brand created by Sony Entertainment and it consists of four home video game consoles – PS, PS2, PS3 and PS4.

It was first introduced in Japan in 1994. Its PS4 console was released in 2013 which was a complete success with selling one million consoles in its first 24 hours. According to Sony, development on the eighth generation system had begun as early as 2008.

2016 started with the release of ‘The Witness’ and ended with launches of ‘Final Fantasy XV’ and ‘The Last Guardian’. The rest of the year saw one hit after another including ‘Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’, ‘Battlefield 1’, ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’ and ‘Overwatch’.
