Wahab Riaz amazes all with five failed run-ups in a row

Pakistan fast bowler, whose mesmerizing spell to Shane Watson during a Pakistan-Australia match in 2015 rose him to fame, is again talk of the town, but not for a good reason this time.

He has set a new record of forgetting run-up for five times in a row against Sri Lanka. He took around seven and a half minutes to complete this over.

This caught coach Mickey Arthur off guard and he sunk his head in his hand amid mix feelings of embarrassment and annoyance then he brisked walk out of the pavilion.

Captain Sarfraz Ahmed behind the wickets was also left dumbstruck to see Riaz taking five failed run-ups in an attempt to bowl fifth ball successfully.

Sri Lanka opener Dimuth Karunaratne’s career best 196 has put the visitors in command at 461-7 in the second day-night Test in Dubai on Saturday.
