LAHORE: Former captain of Pakistan Cricekt team Waqar Younis called on Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Najam Sethi on Wednesday at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore, ARY News reported.
Speaking to media after having a meeting with Najam Sethi, Waqar Younis said he didn’t have any conflicts with anyone.
“Minor differences do exist everywhere even in a family living together in a house”, he added.
When questioned about his appointment for vacant post of head coach, Waqar said it will be too early to talk on the matter however he expressed his willingness to serve Pakistan by saying “I am ready to work for my country anytime.”
PCB has been hunting for the head coach of national cricket team and Waqar, who was Pakistan's coach between March 2010 and September 2011, is considered to be a strong candidate, and is reportedly keen to take up the job.
