Akram was opining on a cricket match between India and Australia which the former won, as suddenly a group of visibly infuriated men barged into the TV studio and forcefully shut the camera.
One of the attackers also asked Akram to stand up, but the camera was then switched off by one of other vandals.
Host Vikrant Gupta was also left shocked who was asking Akram queries through video link.
Friends no need to panic. Nothing wrong with @wasimakramlive – a few people just objected to the cameras there. That’s it

Later in his tweet, Gupta said AKram was safe and no untoward incident occurred.
Due to this merciless attack in my country, I have ceased all work commitments tonight. My heart is with my hometown. Stay strong #Lahore — Wasim Akram (@wasimakramlive) March 27, 2016
Meanwhile, the legendary bowler offered heartfelt condolences on Lahore attack and said he cancelled his assignments of the day following deadly attack in his city.
