TOP NEWS

PESHAWAR: The accountability court sent Ghazan Hoti, brother of former chief minister KP, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, on a 10-day physical remand in weapons procurement scam, ARY News reported Wednesday.

Hoti was produced before the accountability court for hearing of the weapons scandal. The National Accountanility Bureau (NAB) had called for 14-day physical remand for the accused. However the counsel of the accused, Qazi Jawad opposed the move and said remand was uncalled-for when a reference was already filed.

NAB’s lawyer argued that they had proofs against Ghazan Hoti. He said Hoti was accused of accepting bribe of Rs 200 million.
