During the hearing of the Jamil Baloch Disappearance Case at the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday, they admitted that so far no progress was made in the case but chances were more that he had been kidnapped.

While giving statements with respect to the case in the court, the Inspector General (IG) Sindh A.D. Khawaja said efforts were being made for fast recovery of Jamil Baloch.

The court also inquired about the involvement of agencies in the case. But, according to the IG Sindh, there could be some unexplained circumstances that might have led to the disappearance of Jamil Baloch.

High-ups of the police and rangers appeared before the court today because the family of the missing KDA official has registered a case, naming Secretary Interior Ministry, Director General (DG) Rangers, IG Sindh and other concerned authorities as party.

The KDA official went missing in Karachi while rerunning his home in Shah Faisal Colony from his office in Civic Centre on May 27. His car was later found near Aziz Bhatti Police Station.
