Memories of Bollywood’s super duper hit science fiction movie Mr India are still fresh in viewers’ minds as it was the most acclaimed superhero movie of 20th century in Indian cinemas.
There are reports that producer Boney Kapoor is going to make Mr India 2 with a new director after Shekhar Kapur refused to work with the idea. This movie would not be a remake but it would take the story further from where it ended.
The 1987 movie’s sequel does not only have the same hero and heroine in it, but it promises a lot more surprises.
One of the most amazing parts of the flick would be watching Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor sharing the screen space with her mom.
Local Indian media sources have said: “There are two pairs of leads in Mr India 2. While Anil Kapoor and Sridevi will reprise the roles that they played in the first film, there will be a new pair. Jhanvi is likely to play the young female lead. ”
Currently, Sridevi and Anil Kapoor are busy with their upcoming projects. Sridevi is promoting Mom which is slated to release in July next year, while Kapoor is working on his home-production movie.
