‘WINNERS’ a pre-Christmas event, cosies up the season

KARACHI: (Web Desk) – Christmas is the most significant event for Christians across the globe and it is honored with religious zeal and generosity, Christians in Pakistan also arrange several pre-Christmas prayer and other cultural gatherings to commemorate the birth of Jesus.

 

Youth fellowship of Saint Andrews Church, Karachi chapter also arranged a Hymn (religious songs) singing competition in the continuation of Christmas events named as 'WINNERS'. The event was organized by active and enthusiastic youth under the supervision of Henry Kamran.

Rev. Khursheed Alam inaugurated the event with the prayer of peace and prosperity for Christians in Pakistan.

The chief guest of the event was Pervez Henry Gill while Shellim Rueman was the guest of honor.

Zeeshan Pervez (Musician), Dale Arnold Birch (Music Producer) and Rev. Eric Serwar performed the duties as judges for the competition.

Mathew, Nelson Bhatti, Asma Inayat, Farhat Nisar, Imran Bhatti, Catherine Gulzar, Andrew, Simen, Neigel and the Messenger band participated in the competition.

Messenger band stands on the first position followed by Nelson Bhatti at second position while Catherine Gulzar and Naigel tied for third spot. The result was compiled by the jury consisted on Musiscian, Music expert and a religious cleric.

Families attended the event expressed great happiness appreciating the organizing body for such a wonder full event in Christmas season.

Members of the youth fellowship were very excited on conducting most successful event of the season in town.
