LAHORE: A woman “attempted suicide” by setting herself on fire in Lahore’s Hanjarwal area, ARY News reported on Saturday.
Police said that 30-year old Shazia set herself alight whereas her husband Ghulam Abbas claimed that she attempted suicide after a domestic altercation.
Relief workers arrived at the scene and shifted Shazia to Jinnah Hospital Lahore for medical attendance.
The hospital doctors have said that 90% of the victim’s body has been burnt.
