Sri Lanka, being invited to bat first, managed just 102 runs on the board after being bowled out in 36.5 overs. Only of the Lankan batswomen scored in double figures.

Prasadani Weerakkody scored 31 runs from 37 balls with six boundaries to her name while Nipuni Hansika contributed 23 runs from 58 balls with a four to her name.

Chamari Atapattu scored 15 runs off 22 deliveries with the help of three fours.

Jess Jonassen grabbed three wickets while Holly Ferling and Kristen Beams got two wickets each. Megan Schutt, Grace Harris amd Ellyse Perry dismissed one Sri Lankan batswomen each as well.

Australia reached the target of 103 runs comfortably with nine wickets to spare. Ellyse Villani made 48 runs from 85 deliveries with four fours whereas Nicole Bolton contributed 35 runs from 66 balls with two boundaries to her name.

Inoka Ranaweera got the only wicket for Sri Lanka.

Australia lead the series 3-0. The fourth and final game will be contested at Colombo on 25th September
