World T20 2014: West Indies take on hosts Bangladesh

DHAKA: West Indies will play their second match of the Super 10 stage of the World T20 2014 against hosts Bangladesh at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium at Mirpur on Tuesday (today), ARY News reports.

The match will start at 06:30 P.M. Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

West Indies are in a do or die situation after their loss to India on Sunday. They have to win the match if they are to stay alive in the tournament.

The Carribean side has lost seven of their last 10 matches.

Chris Gayle will be the centre of attention in the match against the host nation.

On the other hand, the Bangladesh side has been performing poorly as of yet. Their losses to Sri Lanka and their dismal showing in the Asia Cup have put the management in a fix.

It should be noted that Bangladesh had defeated West Indies in the 2007 edition of the World T20 in South Africa.

The two sides have played four matches against each other in which both sides have won two matches.
