DHAKA: Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, UAE and Hong Kong won their respective warm-up matches on Friday ahead of the World T20 starting March 16, ARY News reported.
Four warm-up matches were played on Friday. In the first game, Bangladesh easily defeated Ireland in their game. UAE, with their excellent bowling performance, demolished Nepal’s team. They bowled out the entire Nepalese players for 95 and chased down a total on just a loss of four wickets.
Similarly in another match, Zimbabwe defeated Afghanistan by seven wickets. Afghan team, while batting first, set a good 168-run target. Zimbabwe successfully chased the total in the last over.
A last clash between Hong Kong and Netherlands was won by the former. Hong Kong had set a 127-run target, however Netherlands players failed to accomplish it and were all out at 100.
