English Captain Stuart Broad won the toss and invited the Dutch side to bat first.
Netherlands scored 133/5 in their 20 overs. Wesley Barresi was the top scorer for the team as he made 48 runs from 45 balls while Stephan Myburgh contributed 39 runs from 31 balls. Michael Swart scored 13 runs from 15 balls.
Stuart Broad took three wickets for the English side whereas Ravi Bopara and Chris Jordan grabbed one wicket each.
