DHAKA: India and South Africa will square off against each other in the second semi-final of the World T20 2014 at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium at Mirpur on Friday, ARY News reports.
India has an advantage in Twenty20 cricket against the South African side. The “Men in Blue” have won five out of seven T20s played against each other. The strength of the Indian team lies in its batting side which is capable of chasing big targets with ease.
On the other hand, the Proteas are looking forward to win their first major cricketing tournament under the leadership of Faf du Plessis. Pace head Dale Steyn will be the danger man for the team.
The South African side is labeled as "Chokers" due to their lack of sustaining pressure on big occasions. It still remains to be seen whether they choke against the Indian side or make it to the final of the World T20 2014.
