The doctors on Monday came to their routine duties while wearing black ribbons on their arms as a mark of protest against the minister.

Later, the Provincial Minister for Health Dr Yasmin Rashid took notice of the threatening call to the MS and sought a comprehensive report from Rawalpindi Medical University’s vice chancellery.

She said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is against the political interference in administrative issues and added that the government will uphold rule of law at any cost.

It is pertinent to mention here that Raja Basharat, in a telephonic conversation, had allegedly threatened to Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Hospital over disobeying his orders on Sunday.
