Karachi: Youm-e-Ashur is being observed today with great respect and religious fervor all over the country, ARY News reported.
In view of possible terror threats army has also been ordered to stay alert.
To give tribute to the martyrs of Karbala, Muslims of all sects are observing Youm-e-Ashur with great religious fervor. In this regard Majalis will also be organized across the country. Mourning procession with Alam, Taziyeh and Zuljanah will be taken out across the country after which in the evening Majalis Ghariban will also be organized.
In federal capital Islamabad and all four provinces along with FATA, Northern areas and Gilgit Baldsitan mourning processions and Majalis will be organized respectively.
Millions of people will be taking out the mourning procession today, whereas, Nohas will also be recited.
Federal and provincial government has deployed 20,000 army soldiers to deal with any kind of untoward incident
