KARACHI: Youm e Siddique e Akbar (RA) was observed nationwide on Wednesday with great respect, religious parties organized rallies in different cities of the country including Karachi, where the speakers shed light on the life span of the first caliph – ARY News reports.
According to details, the day of demise of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA) was observed with great love and respect all over the country.
Religious parties including Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat (ASWJ) and Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) organized rallies in different cities, where the attendees were educated about the life span of the first caliph of the Muslims.
Seminars and conferences were organized in almost all of the cities, demonstrating immense respect on this occasion.
Ulema and religious scholars while addressing rallies and conferences, demanded the Government to officially observe Youm e Siddique e Akbar on every 22 Jamdius Sani of the Islamic calendar and also to announce a public holiday on this day.
