LAHORE: A high-speeding trawler crushed a ten-year-old girl to death and injured two children on Tuesday, ARY News reported.
The incident took place in Begumkot area of Shahdara, where the girl named Nisha was returning from school when she was crushed by the high-speeding trawler.
Two other children were also injured who were provided medial aid and later released. Area residents tried to apprehend the trawler but he managed to escape.
However, they arrested the driver’s assistant and handed him over to police. Nisha was the only child of their parents, who were inconsolable with grief over the tragic death.
