Younis and PCB should sit together to resolve issues: Afridi

KARACHI: Pakistan’s T20 captain Shahid Khan Afridi said on Monday that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Younis Khan should sit together to sort out differences, ARY News reported.

Speaking about axing veteran cricketer out of ODI squad for series against Australia, the all-rounder said every player faces good and bad times during the career.

Newly appointed T20 skipper said team Pakistan will definitely miss the services of Saeed Ajmal in the upcoming series against Australia.

Afridi told reporters that he is considering to stay in Lahore till the mega event because of availability of better facilities at National Cricket academy.

Shahid Afridi expressed hope that a good team will be build before  Wolrd Cup 2015.

Earlier, Younis Khan lashed out at the PCB and selectors for dropping him for the one-day series against Australia saying that he will remain sidelined until the World Cup 2015. The 26-year old cricketer asked selectors not to select him even in Tests.

Over the outburst PCB issued the show cause notice to Younis Khan.
