Younis Khan to miss final two ODIs

KARACHI: Senior Pakistan batsman, Younis Khan will not participate in the final two ODIs against Sri Lanka as the batsman is returning to Karachi because of the death of his nephew, ARY News has learnt.

Chairman PCB Shaharyar Khan has expressed sorrows in a message to Younis Khan, stating “I am deeply saddened at the passing away of your nephew. Please accept my condolences, and convey these to your family as well.”

Furthermore, the PCB is not going to send a replacement of Younis for the remaining two ODIs.

Younis had scored 3 runs in the first ODI making his comeback to the 50-over format after a break of more than a year. His last ODI for Pakistan was in March 2013.

Pakistan clinched the first ODI by four wickets to lead the three-match series by 1-0.The second ODI will be played on August 26, and the third on August 30.
