Youth killed after block from Metro bus bridge falls on him

According to details, the stone weighing several kilograms fell on the youth, severely injuring him. He was rushed to a medical facility where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police said that 13 people have died in different kinds of incidents on the metro bus track.

Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and a high level committee has been formed to investigate the incident.

Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi, speaking exclusively to ARY News, expressed sadness over the incident and said that a case will be filed against the person held responsible by the investigation team and the family of the deceased.

He claimed that such incidents also take place in developed country and added that there is no technical issue in it.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had inaugurated the Rawalpindi Metro bus track on 4th June 2015 and Rs. 44 billion have been spent on it.
