LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Monday sought reply of minister Information Technology in YouTube ban case and adjourned the hearing till March 14, ARY News reported.
The case was heard by Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah. A government reply was filed in the court but it did not have the signature of the minister concerned, therefore the court ordered resubmission of the answer.
Government lawyer told the court that ban on YouTube was imposed in the country following the orders of Supreme Court of Pakistan. However, the petitioner stated that Supreme Court had only ordered removal of blasphemous content from the website, instead of banning the whole video sharing website.
